Two Great Hunts Big Silver .925 jewelry and Silver #30-#32 the Devil showed up.

Had 2 great MD hunts yesterday and the day before. The day before I found the "Devil" A sterling .925 pentagram pendant the owner used to practice sorcery he no long does and gave it to me cause he didn't want it. This thing is the size of a half dollar. He thought wow .... I didn't expect you to find my past so easily. A great find with a very unique story behind it. This hobby is so fascinating. I also found another Shell Mr. President Game there Benjamin Harrison and also a President token made of copper Calvin Coolidge. And a 1926 wheat. Then yesterday morning after prayer meeting at church I got permission to hunt a home site that yielded 3 silvers #30 -#32. Two rosies and one merc. Thanks vpnavy! When I hit that silver pendent I thought I had another silver half dollar, with the VDI showing half. I sure was disappointed when I saw the pendant, but hey still 0.4 ounces of sterling so I'm still happy with it.

Thanks wvwildman! Yes nice finds indeed! After the disappointment of the pendent not being a silver half, I realized it was still big silver and sterling .925 so still a really great find.

That's what I say IT'S SILVER!!! It went into my silver scrap pile. I have about 10 ounces of scrap silver between last year and this year. That doesn't count my coins. I found 3 huge rings that were about half ounce each and then this medallion, which weighs out at 0.4 ounces. plus a lot of ear rings, smaller rings, necklaces, and brooches. Just in sterling I've done rather well. I would never rebury any silver even it had the image of the devil himself on it.
