Today the snow is still melting off,We got about 6 inches yesterday. We sat on the computer for a hole day and nite, doing some research on the local area,We found some new Groves to check out soon,We also got ahold of some maps with 1850-1904 Cellar holes.Or should I say they are holes now.
My wife Tammy ,my son Randy and I headed for the first cellar hole at 4:00 this afternoon,It wasnt long and we started WOO!HOOIN!!
A fair amount of iron trash,Right around the cellar holes,But by the apple trees and the big yard trees, started producing a few( digables). The soil was a perfect .
Hears what we come out with.
1-1892 v-nickel
1-no clear date v-Nickel
1-1902 indian head penny
1-1812 Tiffin Half Penny ( IN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY NEW YORK)
2- flat buttons with writing on back
1-nippon handle
KEEP SWINGIN!!!

Great stuff! The 1812 is remarkable! It's looks so foreign....I know it's not, it's just so cool! Good job on the research and hope you find alot more!
