Went to the beach first for a couple hours and it was very successful with 10 silver coins a Buff and a 1943 20 centavos. Then headed over to my favorite old schoolyard for couple more hours and snagged three more silvers 2 mercs and a Jefferson war nickel a 1800's brass flat button with Treble Gilt back mark. A brass C and what almost gave me a heart attack a chunky gold ring with stones. As soon as I picked it up I could tell by the weight that it was a fake, but it is marked 14k gold electrolysis. Oh well..lol But it was a good day to get out in the sunny 55 degree weather.

It would have been sweet had the ring been gold, but it's a neat ring. That, combined with the silver and other goodies looks like a good couple of hunts to me!

Anywhere between 6 to 12 inches and almost all the targets are iffy. But I have learned to read the signals on this beach very well and there is a lot of silver in this small beach.
