We have company again this weekend and not the metaldetecting type :tongue3: They do sleep late though so out for 2 1/2 hrs at the crack of dawn for a fix . I went back to my neices and kept working the trashy ash dump area where I found the big silver spoon and the snuff box . This site is starting to slow down but besides some clad I did manage two keepers . The sterling silver walking stick topper was my top find of the day :laughing9: The cap has a nice crest or initials ornately etched into the silver. I am hoping someone can decipher this script because I cannot :icon_scratch: :dontknow: The other decent find was the Knights of Columbus plate That seems pretty old :icon_scratch: I would guess late 19th century Thanks for looking ! Very Interesting finds. The K.O.C. item might be from a cemetery marker. I have seen something simmilar for Elks anyway.

I guess I'm a contrarian. I like the walking-stick top myself: definately one of a kind!

Both are rather unique finds, but there's nothing like hand-worked silver in my book.
