The fields around here are finally frozen, so I headed off to the woods today. Not many finds, but I did dig up a couple of knives. The first is an Imperial Frontier pocket knife in very nice shape. I actually managed to get the blade open and the rust scraped right off the stainless steel blade. Definitely a keeper.

The second would have been a great find, but the blade is broken off. It's a Buck 110 folding knife. Too bad someone broke it, since it sells for $40-$50 online! What a tool! Still a cool find, though.

Here's a couple of pics after I cleaned them up:

I like pulling pocket knives, I haven't found two of the same yet. My son collects them so after I get them as clean as I can, he steals them for his collection.

Nice finds. I would send the 110 back to buck for repair. It should be fairly inexpensive.

Auriemma, thanks for the great tip! I checked out their website and they only charge $10 to replace the blade. Maybe I could have them replace the wooden handle as well. I'll look into it. If I could get it all done for $20, I would have a great knife at half the price of a new one. Thanks again!
