I got out this morning to the same spot my buddy and I have had silver success at. He found three with his CTX, I found two.

That's 20 in total over the last two hunts for the good guys :)

Here's mine. A 1907 Edward quarter, and a '52 Georgius dime. (Apologies for the pics. I should have taken these during the day.)

Nice silvers, I love the Edward. Sounds like you guys are killing it on the silvers!

It's down the road from an old riverboat stop Rick. Cottage country. hehe

We've found many large cents.... but the soil is brutal on the coppers. A barber and mercs too.

Vickie pennies, Edwards and georgious'... a French penny and one from England too. Most are Canadian ones. He found an 1892 or 93 fishscale... I forget which one.

Yesterday he found a beautiful 1930 quarter. Today he found seven more!!! (All from 50's and 60's though). I only found one '63 quarter today.

Here's his finds from today.

A few crusty buttons have been found, small silver baby spoon.. many square nails, an old broken silver ring... mouthpiece for a bugle...costume jewelry.

I'm going to give it another shot on my day off tomorrow. :headbang:

With that many silvers, as long as there are targets I'd keep at it.
