What state are you hunting in and what area of the state? You haven't shown one flint or chert piece yet that I can recall. You should really concentrate on those types of stones as you are starting out. Also, study, study, study. There is an unbelievable amount of info out there if you just take the time to look. Did you ever check out my thread on Stone Tools? That should help you a lot I would think.

Nice parrot rock both look like limestone the usual mother nature creations limestone comes in many shapes.
