Started out today with Kimsdad (aka as of today "no more silver drought")
and Des Plaines Silver Bob at a tear-down house in Glenview. Kimsdad was first
on the board. . . big-time. . . with a HUGE Barber Half & Barber Dime in the same hole
which I feebly countered with an 1887 Indian Head & 1912-D Lincoln near the front garden.

A few minutes later I got a solid signal which turned out to be a 1941 IL license plate
that was folded in half :tongue3: (First plate I ever found).

Around Noon, all of us headed over to the woods where Twistidd, Mikewaz and
Treasurefiend were hunting and learned there was some cool stuff being garnered
out there as well. . . (check out Twistidd's post).

The only item of note that I found was a cheap, gold-plated bracelet but, I'll take it ;D

All in all it was a good day for all
Thanks for looking!

Congrats on the IH

Had a great time....

I was tired but still mustered up some energy to swing by a park for 1/2 hour

What a day for all you guys....

Can't wait for the next outing.

Wow, Mark!! First of all, great finds! I love that Indian and the '12 looks great!

That bracelet sure cleaned up nicely, too!

Your photography skills are right up there with your painting talents! Those photos look great. Coincidentally, 1887 was the year celluloid photographic film was invented, something we don't use much of anymore to photograph our finds... ;D

Had a great hunt! It was good to get out with you guys!
