Ty's Monster tractor!

Well the Hubby does it again! :D He comes home saying "Don't be mad when the new tractor comes up the driveway." Here comes this little tractor with a little plow on it, not quite a pretty thing. Now my turn......"What in the heck do we NEED that thing for?" Well he is going to make Ty a yard tractor so he doesn't have to tow his cart behind his bike, besides it was FREE. ::)

I should have know better! :D 2 weeks and a bunch of FREE stuff missing from the garage. But what 12 year old wouldn't be as happy as this one? Enjoy as much as I did when the kid saw it!

What a great gift for a fine young man!

Wished I was a kid again and have that tractor, the engine would never get cold.

Re: Ty's Monster tractor!

I had a full size Massey Harris antique tractor at that age that I actually worked the fields with and I sure had a lot of great memories of that tractor. I know Ty will remember his forever as well!

All I can say is ....
Teach a guy to drive and he'll want to all the time,
give a guy a set of cool wheels ...
he will stay occupied as long as he has the gas to make em go !

Way to go Tye !!

Re: Ty's Monster tractor!

First goodness what a day!

Don, Those were Ty's exact words. "This is COOL!" :D

Sniffer & bbqbull, That's what my Hubby thought. He is quite a man to do this for the young man. The engine never did get cool. :)

Sis & Judie, Ty is always willing to help out when he is here, but he likes to do it the fun way, make something up that drags behind his bike, hook a wagon to the back of his bike to haul with, put wheels on a piece of plywood............ He kept asking what else he could pick up. Hubby says there is a pile of leaves I raked up. Ty....."already got it!" :D So the only thing we had left was to move cord wood from one side of the yard to another.........he must have done a half cord and still wanted to keep going!

Muddy, I wish I had something like that when I was a young one too. (I'm still a kid, at heart anyways. )

Thom, You got that right! That's what the Hubby said "I can see this is going to cost me in gas!" :D

Thanks for sharing in the fun with us!

Re: Ty's Monster tractor!

Yup, that is quite a rig. He will do a lot of the hauling work done around there and enjoy doing it. LOL
He will even start making up work to do after he runs out of of what is now there. He will get pretty skillful
at handling it, too. You just might be working him into his career to make his living with when the time comes.
Looks like he couldn't have a better gift.
