Sorry, I don't know much about CW or other military items but it was sure nice to see this pop out tonight. It measures about 1" across and you can see how the back attached. If you could give me an era on this I would appreciate it. I spent the day with the family and finally snuck out tonight with only an hour left to hunt. Went back to a yard that I found a lot of wheats in last year and don't know how I missed this before. Got a few more wheats tonight but nothing else... except for almost being carried away by the mosquitos. Here is the pics...

Because of the backer, I was sure it wasn't CW but was hoping I could narrow down the age, thanks.

By looks of the back it is more modern. This type of back is the same or similar as the ones used today. However, your could still be older as last century .
