This intrigued me enough to do a little research..

“The Wedge of Aiud”.. well, yes..it is a wedge. But it's a wedge (tooth) busted
off the front lip of the bucket on an excavator..maybe even the one they were
using to dig the hole.

As for it's composition, it's made of Duralumin:

my first thought was dozer tooth, but also thought of plow tooth.

the one think that made me think, maybe, just maybe :laughing7: is the wear.
I would think they break off so regularly, they should look in pretty good shape yet
