The results of the day sure made me wonder if I had a senior moment today. Ok, so
what's WIF talking about this time!?!

Well, it's just that AFTER the "on the way back to my car", I found this laying in the highway:



Must be a new fangled dirt fishing machine?
Rather a unique find on a dirt fishing trip, eh? LOL

Anyway, on to more relevant things.

Went back to the same place I went last time, heavily hunted. Still, found a few:






Whole wheat toast.



Fishy has an eye on his new Spidey car.



Blingie says he thinks he'll call this one...........lunch!!!



It says "HECHO EN MEXICO UF 925" With the letters "FM"

All in all, a pretty nice day of shadow hopping.

I guess the fly rod was in the carrying bag? Probably in very nice shape I bet! Looks like cork near the reel. Some of those can be pretty expensive. Nice hunt especially in the heat.

Oh yeah, guys! I KNOW it's a VERY nice rod and case! In a former lifetime I used to do some fish, fishing too. (Don't tell Fishy!)

Might want to put an ad on Craig's List like tylerbdad did -- I'm sure the owner of that rod was not too happy to lose that--though hard to imagine how it was lost. Then again I did find about $1000 of shrink wrapped custom molding once on the road. I called the local cops at the time to see if anyone lost it. No Craig's List back in those days.

You really have a talent for "finding" treasure, with or with out a detector (the detector was probably in the car when you found the rod/reel).
