I'm dripping wet, but happy. All were found this morning except for the [brass] round ball. Yes, this bugger is brass; never heard of such a thing. It's 14.2 mm diameter and 12.9 grams in weight...it's brass! I posted it on the What Is It forum, but I believe people are either stumped or enjoying the holiday weekend (hopefully the latter).
Was also happy with the Canadian 1853 token; other than rainbow coloring from the clay it rested in, there's not a lick of wear on it! Just about all of the copper coins that I have found here in upper Lake Champlain come out with the "just cleaned with vinegar" look. I think the low oxygen environment from being buried in the clay prevents a normal patina from developing.
