I got my coil over a puzzler tonight on a site where I have previously found a William III, 2x KG2, 1723 Woods Hibernia, a spade guinea gaming token and a few early relics. So far, i havent found anything from the 1800s, but i have found a few Indian cents including a 1903 tonight.
There are enough details that I am hoping someone can help me sort it out as I couldnt find a match in my “red book”. It rang up like a silver quarter in my nox (30-31) and is slightly smaller than a quarter. I cant find a match for it but I do not have a good reference for British coins or tokens. It may very well be altered but im fairly certain it is a coin. The last pic is the opposite side, no details to my eye....
Thanks for your insight- HD

HD, that one is a head-scratcher. But T-Netters love a mystery coin. Post some measurements if you can. Cool find.

Im struggling to get a better picture of the side with faint details, but the opposite side looks almost hammered..
