unknown copper, possibly kg?

My first find with a new one and out comes this beautiful coin, near where my gold one appeared, about two inches over there was wood burried about 8 inches look to be cut, i tried to carefully pull it up and it broke and underneath this beauty, I dont know what it could be, I was thinking king george?

Definitely a New Jersey copper. Great find. :thumbsup: How did you clean it?
 

Water from the near spring, and a little terry cloth, not much was on it, the wood created alittle pocket just alot green I had to put pressure on. Tried look for a date, strange a nj in ky
