While doing basic surveys of several sites in Haiti we came across one vessel that had these bronze spikes. All the spikes have the barbed ends. The entire ship was built with these. We haven’t disturbed the site, just took a sampling to try to identify it. It’s very interesting because of these spikes, since we have never came across them before. Any ideas?

Re: Do they look similar?

They sure look the similar..........
1800s to 1830s, my best guess.
Where did you say they were found?
It's time to disturb the area......I'm on my way....lol
