Unusual Quarter Find

I tried searching quarters for the first time. The first roll I opened (customer wrapped), had a bright silver edge showing. I thought, wow this is easy! It turned out to be a 2008 Hawaiian state quarter. I assumed that it was a quarter from a silver proof set. However instead of an "S" mint mark, it has a "P". Also, it doesn't have the distinctive silver ring to it.
There is zero copper showing on the edge. The color is a more silver than a regular quarter, but I am sure the coin is not silver. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Is it worth saving?

I got one like that. Forgot which State. It had a "P" mintmark and the edge and coloring was silver.
Got it from a tellers tray. It really stuck out.

Just plated (Decorated) for some event. Not worth anything, but a nice coin for those blank slots at the end of the whitman folder, if you want to. I have some gold plated (Color, not material) ones in mine, since they look so cool.

But only worth $0.25.
