Well we went at it again today.
Started out at an old building not for from the house, and found a neat little coin with "10" on one side and flower kinda pattern on the other. It's smaller than a dime, and made of aluminum. Game coin/token maybe?
Then it was off the big park.
Working the wood mulch around the swings we started finding quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies.
The wife was swinging the Ace and I of course was the digging "bit@!".
She hit her third quarter and demanded the keys to my truck stating she had enough for a .99 cent Jumbo Jack at Jack n the Box, and she was hungry.
I managed to convince her to stick it out until she had enough for a drink too, and maybe dig for me for a while.
We cleaned out the big park with enough for two Jumbo Jacks with cheese (extra .25 cents) and small drinks!!!!!!
After the not so healthy lunch, we headed to a smaller park nearer to our house, and proceeded to find another $1.39 in clad, a 9mm shell casing and a .45 semi-wad cutter slug, three fishing weights, and assorted trash.
With the day winding down fast, we take our "loot" and sunburns back to the house to wrap up a great day.
I still have to fix the divots in the yard from yesterday, which I was reminded of several times today!
But my new Garrett 1350 will be shipped Monday!!!!!!!!!!
