Update on Minelab Experience

Well, I just received a call from the guy over the tech dept. at Minelab. He wanted to see if I had received my replacement unit and to see how it was working. I explained that the threshold was doing the same thing as the other unit and he actually seemed concerned about finding the reason. I told him there are several of you reporting the same issue, he said he was going to contact the plant in Australia were they're manufactured and he would keep me updated. I also told him about the loose cable connections and he's going to address that with quality control. Again he seemed concerned and he actually said they are making an effort to improve the customer service, so I can't really complain so far. My unit is working fine since I corrected the loose connection issues.

Just giving the update since there were quite a few responses to the original post.
