yesterday me and poison ivy digger went to a new spot for us atleast . Searched around alittle got some buttons, bullets and then out of no where the MXT started screaming like a banshee and laying on the ground was one of these beauties still got signal and pulled out another ! at this point it turned into a bar brawl the hole was still singing put the Garret pro pointer in it went ape s@#t and out came another we couldnt beleive it then it happened again this holly tree was giving birth to these box plates 5 total this has been one of the least likely to happen things that by god happened!Enjoy i know i am .

Unreal! I've never seen anything like this. Congratulations, should be a shoo-in for finds of the year!

Hi all

I see the enthusiasm and the joy in this thread.
Being from Europe, I am "completely unfamiliar" to these finds? :dontknow:
Would someone please be so good to explain me what these US box plates are, and why they are banner finds.
Are they very rare?

Thank you, and sorry for asking in an uneducated way ::);D

Most people in this hobby will never find a US Box plate. Congratulations on finding 5 at the same spot.
