Nice, I found one of those WW2 forks. Probably a mess hall utensil , I guess they brought a lot of stuff home with them
IF I remember, that spoon looks to be what would come with a "mess kit" with it having the open end in handle. Do not even know if the metal mess kits are still being used. Been awhile.

Yes, I agree that this was a spoon to a mess kit for sure.
