I have been buying these for several years now, because they are amongst the purest official gold coinage in the world.
They usually sell out pretty quick.
They come incapsulated with a very nice wooden display. This year they are running about $1550

How come they (the 2015's) are available online without the display for $1375 even before the official release?

The coins that you are seeing for $1375 are most likely mint state bullion coins. The coins that are from the mint are proof strikes. The same is true with some of the other coins you see
the mint issues special strike or proof strike whereas there are the regular coins also for sale. Sometimes a coin can be certified and still sell for less than what the mint charges, most likely they took a loss on that particular coin. If you can afford the proofs they make a nice coin to own.
