It's really amazing. 18000 ft is deep. I'm glad at least a few crewmen are still around to witness it.

I read a book about it decades ago, far, far better than the movie tried to be.
After reading the book I couldn't even make it though the movie watching it for free.

Usually goes that way between books and movies, just no way you can pack half the info and excitement in a good book into a movie ,,, Then you have the Hollywood angle always looming where they have to insert things pretty much unrelated to try to drum up interest.
