Vacation at Virginia Beach with New Detector! Gold and Silver!!

I just bought the Garrett AT Max for a week of vacation at Virginia Beach. Well Worth it! I am coming from the 250 and had about 2 days prior to vacation to get acquainted with it. I spent about 6 hours [of vaca detecting I ended up with plenty of change lead weights, trash, match box cars, 3 rings, 1 silver quarter, and my first ever Real Gold find! After it rained I went to the main beach was tooling around with the detector got a signal and what did I see sticking out of the sand? This real 14k Gold chain!!! I didn't know if it was fake or not but I got a 44 reading! After getting home I determined this baby was real under the magnifying glass I didnt have to dig it was rite there! I also one day got that beautiful Silver Pandora Fairytale ring, and this opal one, plus nother one I lost. I though the Pandora was real until I punched the numbers online. Over all epic vacation!! I cant believe I found the chain on the surface! Stellar --- Still get use to this detector, but so far very impressed!

Wow. That is awesome. Way to go on some great finds! I’m going to VB in a few weeks. Not sure I’m gonna have much time but this is making me rethink packing the old detector.
