Hello, this vase was given to my mother by my grandmother and my mother gave it to me. I have always loved it but am very curious to who the artist is and/or where it came from (and possible value of course, though my mother says it's "not worth anything".

I apologize for the poor pictures.... I only took a picture of the bottom half of the vase and then the markings on the very bottom ridge. The markings look like 2 parallel lines and a little circle. The decorations on the vase (the dots, etc.) are raised and it measures probably 1 1/2" to 2" tall.

ANY help or even a direction on where else to look would be so appreciated!
