In case you are new to the Coinmaster GT and think that you have a bad unit because it won't go into VCO mode.... The instruction manual is misleading. In the book it says that VCO is turned on by pressing "Tone ID" button while in Pin Point mode. Which would imply holding down the "PP/All Metal" button, because that is how you get to PP mode. It would make you think that you hold down the button then press "Tone ID" while still holding it down. Actually, it should say press the PP button once and release, putting it in "All Metal" mode, then press "Tone ID".
