I found a small womans 14k ring at a solid 8 (I posted it up on forum a week or so ago). Also, my wedding ring and my hunting buddy's wedding ring (both 14k) come in at a solid 19 for us when we tested at the beach. Also found a Large beat up Ike Dollar about 9" deep that was a solid 38

I've got over a 100 gold rings I've found in the last few years and you really need to dig everything. I've tested a number of them on the Equinox and they come in anywhere from (1) 3.5 gram 18k broken wedding band to (24) 13 gram 14k signet ring. I just pulled an 7 gram 18k gold band last week that read a solid 20 at 7-8 inches, I wasn't expecting it to be a ring, nice surprise. Most of the rings I have read in the 9-18 range though.
