not many of them ever made

The Marmon Wasp won the first Indianapolis 500 Race in 1911 with Ray Harroun as the driver who accomplished this feat.

this makes it even cooler

In their later years, Marmon built some of the finest tractors to
ever pull a trailer down the interstate. Each one was custom built
for the driver, and (for the time) had the best ride on the road.

Truly sad day when they closed the doors on the factory.
