Here's a few more small points. The one in the middle is just a hair over 3/8 inches long.

Well,.Sometimes ?
Here's a few more ...

JPEGlongshort.jpg

This pic is pretty much the long and short of it ,.out here in S.D. California . My longest points are 1 5/8in. long , and my tinyest one 5/16 in , but I'd say 3/4 -7/8 in are most common .
I just weighed some for fun , and on agv. they weighed a bit less then .5 gr. , my heaviest [orange on rt. side pic] was 2.05 gr. , and the my Tinyest .12 gr .

Hay there Larson ,....I'd say your in the running for "Tinyest" as well ... ;D..Blindpig

That was her first find right? You got a study pack from Geo and then found that one on the farm. I remember that.

It was her first, hopefully not her last. She found it in northern Wisconsin on property my father owns, hoping to get up
there as soon as the snow is out this coming spring. The study-pack (great term by the way) from Neo had a big part
in my daughters search, if she had not seen it I doubt she would have made an effort to search.

I have that kit placed in a glass topped, hinged display that I hope to add too. It will be passed on to another lucky
recipient when we have finished and can contribute to it, hopefully making it a growing/mobile learning tool.

Larson, I passed along your comment, she still asks questions about it (who/what/etc) which is a great sign.
