Waddah ya know about activated charcoal absorbtion?

I know I need to do my own research and study up on things, but this is part of that process.

How much gold can a pound of activated carbon absorb from solution?
That is my question.

I'm working out the numbers to decide how much it's worth paying for or if I need to build that apparatus too. To manufacture it.
I know I need to shop around of course, but I'm seeing $60 for 2.5 KG on one site and that seams a tad high for charcoal.
