Went out to Sudbury today Hit one of the conservation areas. Relic kind of day Horseshoe, Ax, Pocket Knife, Gear, 3 Whatchamacallits. Only 11 cents in change.

More Relics from Weston 2 Horseshoes, Ox Shoe, oil lamp burner, some kind of bracket ? 2 plates butt plates ? a steel chisel ? a 1912 V nickel corroded to hell, and a wheat. Not pictured 6 shot gun head stamps, bullet, casing, rotted jackknife, Also uncovered 2 wagon wheels (should I dig them out?)

Went back to the blacksmith shop 2 Wagon Wheel rims, a spring set up, file, ax head, 4 horse shoes, Ford starter assembly, and 3 insulators attached to it, then there were various bits of Iron all over. here are some pics. Left the wheels and spring set in the woods. .26 in clad plus .08 from yesterday.

Hey Rick. I havent been on in a while and i was just going through your log for the past few weeks. the Aug 31 'dirt search' was great for silver. congrats. I'm still going through the coins. Today's I was in Waltham off Trapelo road in the woods, not much got 2 Whatsits, 2 buttons, 3 clad quarters in a coin spill and 3 toasted wheats.

In Watertown on California st 1890 house not much or more like the ground is to dry and I was overheating. Will return to it after a good soaking. .64 in clad, a compact, a clock part, copper whatsis, and a
tank tested plate from a Boston Mfg. and a 1987 Canadian dollar coin.
Tomorrow I meet with the Historical Society to sign over the Ox knob and Bell for display all I'm going to ask if for assistance in opening sites to me. Wish me luck !

Went over to a park I was eyeballing kind of hot today so I only got a few hours in. A silverish stud, 1950D Rosie, Canadian quarter, and 50 C turkish coin, 2.88 Clad also scored a 1961D Rosie coin roll hunting.

Headed out for a few hours today hit the old library in the west end of town, 14K 4.9 gram gold snake ring with sapphire eyes, 1930 Buffalo, 2 Wheats 1952, 1958,gold tone angel, and a silver plated butter knife. .93 cents in clad.

Today was the Mass Treasure - Home Club Hunt what a great day !

Went out Lincoln/Weston area today, the buggy parts are still leaning up off the trail 2 good rims and a set of springs ! Went further up the trail found the cellar hole totally overgrown, Busted thru the overgrowth and did some test holes don't think it's been searched, Lots of copper and tin flashing, 2 Indians 1900 and a toasted, a spoon, teapot lid, buckle, broken clip, 2 ring bullet, decorative metal whatsis, and a brass end piece whatsis. Clad 6.31

Today's hunt was around the old hometown, Just ran down a strip at the edge of the park. I token, 2 non silver medals, 1 Unk metal disk looks hammered can't I D. 9 Wheats 1940 thru 1958 nothing special, and 3.76 in clad.
