Wanting to build my own large scale PI coil

Ho all. Im wanting to build my own large scale PI coil for my detector. Im looking at a 36inch diameter size coil.
I know what guage wire to use. But i cant work out how many winds i might need. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Thanks ive been to that site many times before and got most of my info from it. However the link to a page which calculates the number of wire turns wont work on my server. and i havnt been able to find a mathematical equation to help me calculate it either. I understand its not going to as sensitive as a normal coil. But my use is for deep large targets.

My connection cable has 6 wires. 2x rx. 2x tx and 2x faraday sheild
If i can find out hoe many turns of the rx and tx i need to do. I should have it working. by taking an old mono coil apart i found it used 40 turns of a 19awg wire and 60 turns of a 22awg wire for the rx and tx. Im not sure if i need to increase the amount of turns for a larger coil. Or if this amount will work on it

I want a coil to tow behind me when diving and spearfishing.

there is a coil calculator on that site...just search for it..

there is a coil calculator on that site...just search for it..

He has been there he just can't access the calculator.
