Traveling I 65 south from Montgomery Alabama
U will be tempted to cut off some miles by taking
331 as short cut to emerald coast destin/fwb.
Please be aware / extra careful small town
Brantley Alabama .has speed limit signs which say strictly
Enforced at town edge.when you get downtown is a photo
Enforced speed camera set up to look like a utility dig up.
I was traveling limit but worry if speedo is off by 1mph
Maybe strict enforcement means they will ticket for
1mph over..? I was just chiding myself for being
Paranoid about this when I rolled into florala Alabama.here
They try to hustle you differently. Police cruiser which follow
From incoming edge of town then sudden movement between
Tailgating and drop back tactic. The downtown
Has 3 sets of flashing yellow lites about 30 yards
Apart.most folk do not know flashing yellow only
Means proceed with caution.and not commonly
Seen or used. If above tactics have not yet caused
U to make a driving mistake😠 then cruiser follows
Tailgating to fla state line turnoff at last road in bama.
Of course speed limit is 25 mph.
2 small towns that want to make traffic enforcement
A profitable industry.since they are convenience. Located on way to beaches.
Be careful. I would like to hear of other traps near beach although this may not be right place
