I recently found a coin that had Washington on one side and the statue of liberty on the other. I've never seen one before and wondered if it was real. It was found in a playground and has turned from being in the dirt so long. This week I found another Sacagawea dollar which is pretty dark on the same playground.
Can they be cleaned? Is the Washington of any value?
Thanks

Sure, it is worth a buck. But before you spend it, check the rim to ensure it isn't smooth. Make sure the "E Pluribus Unum", year, and mint mark are on the side. If no writing, then it is worth way more than a buck. It is a long shot, though.
