Got to go out on a hunt after Church and headed to the usual town We hunt in. The first house I stopped at was a home that had been brought in for the Soldiers after WW11. I knew stuff wouldn’t be super old there but decided to give it a go anyway. Glad I did!! Other than the usual clad, about the 4th Signal was a Sterling Ring!!! Small black stones in the middle. Maybe black onyx🤷🏼‍♂️.
Went to another spot and got a couple Wheats, an old dog tag and a bling bracelet.
Wheats-1953D,1954D
All in all a good hunt!! Silver#36fty!! Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!!!!

Good finds.

The sterling ring is by the Uncas Mfg. Co. established in Providence, Rhode Island in 1911. That particular mark first saw use around 1920 and was in use until at least 1988, although they had largely replaced it with the word “Uncas” by the 1950s.

Cool finds. The ring is great, so is the rabies tag, and I love the “no cash value” token. (You’ll never be able to sell it. It has no cash value. :laughing7: )

Anyone else wonder how redcoat knows so much?
