Water pocket spill

I got up early for a water hunt at a lakeside resort in northern MN. Only had an hour but I made the most of it. Found 2 silver Washington quarters and a toasted buffalo all in the same hole. I was in about 4 feet of water and the coins were in another 3-4" of sand.

Nice finds, good hunt. I'll be in northern MN in cass county in a couple of weeks. I plan on doing some walleye fishing and also some detecting while I'm there.
May I ask what county you have been hunting? And are there a lot of other metal detectors in that area? What is the water temp like in July up there. should I bring some waders or a wetsuit? Thanks, Happy Hunting!

I'll be in Cass County at the end of July into the first week of August (Hackensack to be exact). What town are you going to? Nice finds by the way Red.

We will be close to cass lake. Not sure what town. I live in Tennessee, my wife's family is from mn.

I'm in Crow Wing county. The water was fantastic, you definitely won't need waders or a wetsuit.
