We found some silver in the sand of playgrounds-todays finds

We got out and hit couple of sites today before the heat drove us back inside. Pickings for clad were slim as we only found couple of bucks between us. But Bobbie found a 1945 Washington, her first ever silver quarter, silver and cz cross pendent and a silver earring. I found a small silver earring also. School started back here yesterday and rest of schools start back on monday. Does my heart good to see those big old yellow busses all lined up at the schools again.

thanks all, yes surfrat we do get skunked sometimes, today we found more clad bout $8.50 between us , bobbie found silver bead, and i found some junk jewelry. civilman yea the school yards are dry here but it will start picking up soon. Sept -Dec is our favorite time of the year to detect. We will be heading to the planning boards to make sure the last 4 monthes are as productive as the first 4 monthes. More posts to follow lol
