Because of all of the severe winter weather we will be having this week in Wisconsin, the Department of Transportation issued a Winter Travel Warning. They suggested that anyone traveling in the current icy conditions should have the following:

· Shovel

· Blankets or a sleeping bag

· Extra clothing including coats, hats, and gloves

· 24 hours worth of food

· De-icer

· Rock salt

· Flashlight and spare batteries

· Road flares or reflective triangles

· Empty gas can

· Booster cables

I looked like an idiot on the bus this morning.

Hay, I travel by motor home, I already have all that stuff with me plus 4 wheel drive and 2 5gal cans of backup diesel. LOL
Actually I have been staring out the window at one foot of snow just laying out there since 1/26. The motor home, weighing 6 tons, was the only thing that could punch thru my 100yds. of driveway.
But look at the bright side, the groundhog didn't see his showdow so that means an earley spring!
And I forged thru the internet to get here.LOL
