Thought i would be wet but it was real nice. Perfect day for hunting. The relics didn't come out like we wanted but we stumbled across a few anyway. I have a couple of pics of one field we hunted. The dot in the distance is Shane digging. I ran across a token sunning on a cane row. some of the other finds were: brass bell with flag on it, 1884 V nickel, shield nickel, 2 perfume bottles (no perfume), curry comb, 1897 indian head, and flower button. I thought the flower button was a coin because it had so much crust around it. You can see it still has a bit of crust that probably won't come off. I couldn't find the backmark in my button book.
Best part of the day was to see someone find their first bullet and first V nickel. It was a great day.

Nice going Brent. I'm glad Shane had a chance to get a taste of relic hunting. He had suggested that He and I get together sometimes to hunt, but I wouldn't be able to provide any relic sites, just BREC parks. I think now he will find park hunting lacking.

Wow!!! Now you got me wondering if I have the wrong detector!!! nah,,,,,,I know its your experience. Thank you so much for the opportunity Brent, I will never forget that day as long as I live. And......I need to start wearing my glasses, you sure have an eye for that stuff! The finds you have were so much more amazing to see cleaned up and posted in pictures, man do they come alive!. My adrenalen is still flowing! I spent the entire day bragging to everybody about this hunt and showing them my stuff. If I'm so blessed in the future to go with you again i will definitly be discriminating out all that iron. I'm glad I was able to remove some of it to help the farmers out & avoid some flats. Awesome finds, an awesome day. CI Guy.......I would gladly go with you to a park and hunt, I will admit I sure am tired of all those pull tabs, foil and clad. Shane Marcotte

Sounds like a great hunt to me. I love relic hunting, it doesn't payoff every time you go but when it does it's sweet. WTG.
