I found this a few days ago, but didn't post it as I was going to give it a cleaning first in the special sauce. :)

It's in there now, getting rid of the rust.

Anyone know what this little guy is?

Better pictures of cleaned item to follow...

Does that have a very thin blade ? i find those all the time here in plowed fields potatoes the ones i find are about 12 inches long and 3/4 " wide and very tough to bend but thin they travel along the plows blades they lift the potatoes up out of the soil at harvest time , sometimes a rock will break one off , at least that is what a farmer told me last week .Dd60

I'm not sure bro. It looked like it was one solid item, original and not broken off of something.

I'll be able to tell once it's cleaned up..

I found it on a cove where I found some trade axes, an old pocket knife, etc... the area was also knows for hundreds of nails and big clunky rust iron pieces and rods.

It could very well be just a hunk of crap. :) lol

Looks like a part of a kitchen knife, or spatula.

The first picture looks most like a broken fork or screwdriver. The wide part likely had a piece on each side to form a handle. Hard to tell without handling it.

It's an old butter knife I'd say from the first picture. I have a number of them somewhere and they look identical.
