Well here's my 2 cents

I do realize this coin is completely worn out and worth just about, well 2 cents. Still it was the best of the day, and a cool find for me in Nova Scotia.
First year issue 1864 2 cents. Not too hard to read the date here in my hand.
Maybe I'll get silver next time.

Nice job! They are few and far between. I have found two, one in Virginia and one here in the Dallas area.

I've been fortunate enough to find 3, all when I was in Virginia. They are a neat coin, and the 1864 also has more than one variety, to include a large and small banner. Congrats on an awesome coin for a Scotia guy!
