wet sand .
Hi:hello:

So beautiful out today at mid-morning and I was just dying to get out there.

Hank needed fresh air and a bit of exercise to boost his morale so I suggested the obvious:laughing7:

Low tide damp sand was where the hunt took place; found a '64 "Roosie" , and a nice size sterling cross.

Cross is stamped A. Gale Inc. Sterling

Finished by noon to get home for some homemade :hello2:pumpkin cheesecake

Hmmmmmmmmm...I'm sure Hank will need more fresh air and exercise tomorrow:headbang:

Here's some pics...it's great to be back posting

Good news on the silver and I know it had to be good for both of your soul's just to get out in the fresh air. Now about that pumpkin cheesecake, did you use a ginger snap crust? I saw a great recipe for pumpkin cheesecake the other day I wanted to try using those.

Excellent find on the cross and the 64 rosie and glad you and Hank got out of the house. That cheesecake looks good and makes me want something sweet. Yesterday was a beautiful day and I made plans to go detecting after church and was planning to stay until dark because we had no pm services. When I got home from church, Mama was so sick I couldn't get far from home and I was very disappointed. 72 degrees and sunshine, but maybe I can go Tuesday. They let the water back up in about 2 weeks and I really haven't had much time to detect there at all. I've been finding some 1965 quarters at the river so I feel like I'm getting close to a silver coin, but the jewelry eludes me everytime I go. HH and praying for Hank's continued recovery. It's great to have support when you are being a caretaker. After cooking 3 days in a row for our small family's Thanksgiving dinner, my oldest brother said if he had to go to the doctor as much as our elderly Mom and myself, he'd rather be dead. Hope you have more moral support than this. Family and friends can say things that hurt more than rank strangers.
