Went field hunting today...1854 Braided Hair LC!! Pics Added

Before you say anything, I'm looking for my camera cord to upload pics.

EDDE and I went out field hunting today (20 degrees 17 MPH wind :o) I got a 93 VDI on my XLT- thought it was a big peice of lead. I located the item and ran it across the field. I gave it to Ed and told him that it better be a coin (i'd never seen a coin that big). After his string of curse words and sobbing- he told me it was a large cent (I believe there was also something in there about how he had been detecting for blah blah years and never found one so on and so forth).

:P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

J/K Ed

I will post pics later tonight- its soaking in peroxide now.

HH,

Aaron

I advise against the peroxide method, unless you are Don in SJ. Otherwise, you might turn the coin into something very undesirable. Personally, I don't clean my coppas with ANYTHING.

Congrats on the largie. Looking forward to the pictures. I have used the peroxide method before and it seems to work well.
