Minelab Explorer (is there another brand)
Went with a guy down the road from me (my youngest sons friends dad) who has just gotten into detecting and he is hooked. Received permission at a nice old home site that gave up some goodies. Two indian heads, a couple silvers and a nice sterling ring. Couple wheaties and a little bird pin. My buddy wasn't finding anything so I hit a good indian signal and let him hear it and dig it. Was a 1908 Indian. Probably has an S mint mark on it with my luck. :laughing7:
We ran out of daylight, I know there is more left in that yard. When I asked for a return visit I was shot down. They said they were thinking of getting a detector so. Oh well, got some goodies. :laughing9:
