I made the best of it and decide to dig just below the frozen area near the water . I was digging it out and noticed a nice rust layer and just bellow rotted wood black color and just bellow that the bottles started poping out here what got un cleaned. I was limted because hole back filling with water around me wasnt thawed out couldnt go forward?ps the cork still the whiskey bottle after cleaning

Nice stuff John! Is the aqua cylindrical bottle identifiable or slick? I have a thing about them, they look nice in a cabinet but take up so little room.

Thanks for sharing your hunt!
