With a baby and a house, I dont get to dig or post as much as I used to, however with research I have located some decent western sites way off the beaten path that I am able to hit a couple of times per year. My brother Scott and I did some camping and relic hunting last weekend at one of these sites. On Saturday by 12:00 it was 39 degrees and raining, so we called it a day, however we managed a nice variety of Mounted Infantry relics before we slogged home. Thanks for looking. Oh..... the last picture is the closest I can get to a Hardee pin.

That is quite an excellent post! The shoulder scale piece is Top Notch--and the company letter and number are absolutely good finds. It is hard to dig these relics in good condition, since many of them get destroyed by the plow.

Best Wishes,

Buckles
