I have a bounty hunter time ranger i a thinking about getting a garret ace 400 any thoughts on how good it is like depth, weight :hello:

Your time ranger is probably just as good of a machine. I have the older time ranger I bought 4 or 5 years ago when they came out with the new model, and then I upgraded to an mxsport. The time ranger wasn't a terrible machine but the mxsport leaves it in the dust. I think you could get a similar deal on a used at pro if you want a garrett, or there are plenty of other machines for what the 400 cost. just my personal opinion though.

I had an Ace 400, it was a good machine and found a ton of coins for me. I sold it when I got a deal on a 2 month old ATPro, After swinging the ATPro for a while I'd say spend a bit more and get the ATPro if you like Garrett.

If your machine must be bought new, go for it, otherwise I'd be looking into a used AT Pro for the same money or less. just know that with the release of the AT Max, many of the Garrett clan are selling their AT Pros to help fund their new AT Max.
