I purchased some items from a fellow that did a archealogy dig the items where excavated in 1989 at a local area here. There where several points, scrappers, knives, and pottery shards in the lot but these things are unknown. The first is a stone in the shape of a tear drop I thought maybe was a plumb bob? The second is like the first in shape but broken on top and bottom it has a pin hole that runs all the way through it. The two round stones are perfe ctly round. Any ideas on what any of it is?

Not sure what those are. The top one, the tear shaped one, kind of looks like a plummet, but I'm not sure. I doesn't look natural, but I can't 100% endorse it as a plummet either. I really don't know about the 2nd one other than I don't believe the tiny hole in the center is a drill hole. The 2nd piece somewhat has the look of a concretion with the center eroding. Sorry I can't be more help.
