What Do you Want On Your Tombstone ??

Well my wife, the kids, and myself went camping over the weekend and I was under the impression from a "ranger" that MD'ing was OK, but when I went to get my permit I was told it was a no go .

So I thought I would look around for old thing when I found this 1854 tombstone and then thought it would be neat in the fasion of the TNet car show to show the oldest tombstones that hunters have found So here is my find !

Here's one of mine. NOT my oldest but the strangest one. I call it the Backwards Stone.

*He was born on 10/17 & died 10/16 (dates are numerically backwards)
*The 9 in the year he died is backwards
*He was 87, She was 78 (her age is reversed ...or his is)

These are NOT the oldest I've seen - but they are the oldest I have pictures of...







As for my own marker? I don't care - I'll be gone.

I could care less what they put on my tombstone.
Im dead, what can I do about it anyways why worry over something you have absolutely no control over??

BUT.... I will say this.

I have left specific instructions that when I die, throw my rotten a$$ed body on the side of the road. Let the state find me, and let them identify me, and throw me in a pine box, cardboard box, whatever and let THEM bury me.

My thinking is, Ive been paying taxes all these years, as my last act on earth, I am getting some of my money back from them
