OK. Thanks. Turkey sure has a lot of "history" so your research will be over a much wider subject area. The carvings of letters and shapes on the side of that boulder were done be PROFESSIONAL stone carvers.......not someone doing a quick and dirty job. If you can get them interpreted, it will give you a good place to aim your research. Take a good photo and see if an archeologist or language professor at a university can "read" the message. With the way the area of the boulder is flattened some for the carvings, it was meant to convey some kind of important message........perhaps a memorial of some kind.
